Rockets try to extend series vs. Clippers in Game 6

Game 6 in the Rockets-Clippers series is underway Thursday night in Los Angeles as the Rockets try to extend the series.

The Rockets trailed 29-25 at the end of the first quarter, and the Clippers held the advantage early in the second quarter.

Houston then scored on 10 of 11 possessions midway through the second and took a 52-47 lead on an alley-oop from Josh Smith to Clint Capela.

The Clippers then regained the lead 60-58 on a three-pointer by J.J. Redick.

James Harden has 21 points and Dwight Howard has 11 points.

The Clippers lead the best-of-seven series 3-2 and with a win would advance to the Western Conference final, ending the Rockets' season.

If the Rockets win, they would host the seventh and deciding game Sunday.
