Houston Cager Claims Myself

Well, it happened: at 4:30am Monday morning I was involved in an accident. I was on my way to work going outbound on the Katy Freeway and Beltway 8, I was in the left turn lane under the Katy Freeway with my signal on and as I lean into the turn here comes the cager on the inside of my blind spot. Mind you there is only one turn lane here. He clips my tail section and causes me to wobble, I saved it as much as I could but due to the construction gravel I went down on my left side.

I managed to walk away without a scratch, my bike is starched pretty good though. I have very sore ribs from the impact on the surface. I would have had broken ribs if it wasn't for my back pack. I want to thank Alpinestars Leather Jackets for making a wonderful product, Lucky Jeans (because I needed it), Joe Rocket gloves, and Arai Helmets. It pays to wear the right gear.

The gentleman that was involved with me was older, mid 60's. The whole thing scared him so much that he had chest pains, I had to calm him down and control his breathing. Police and EMS were called to the scene, he turn out to be ok. At his age in the dark at a construction zone is not a good combo. His Insurance should pay for everything. BTW the 2006 ZX10R crash really well.

So glad to hear that you were able to walk away from your accident and it all turned out fairly okay! Materials can be replaced, good to know that he stopped and his insurance will cover it.

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-
