cylinder replating

I need to get my rm 125 cylinder replated and was wondering if there was anyone local that does it other than EBR (If they even do it in house). Just trying to see what my options are. I don't plan on boring it out or anything and am not too familiar with sleeving.

If it's nicasil it's cheaper to do a new cylinder

I don't even remember when I took it maybe back in September. Just supposed to replace it and rebuild the head. It's partially my fault for not staying on them but I call once a month and get an excuse.

You find me a spotless cylinder for under $229 and I'd be inclined to believe you, LOL. But I'll look up Rat and give them a call, thanks.

I don't know if they will coat your specific application but I would call Polydyn.

Local and arguably the best performance coatings in racing.

Thanks, I called them. The only issue I'm having with USC or Millenium is the shipping time/charges. Good thing I'm still waiting on the piston to get here as it leaves me a little time to research!

Call H&M plating in south houston, my buddy is a sales guy there.

They do a load of nickle, chrome etc...

I know they do a bunch of plating work for NOV, Cameron and some other companies here locally.

It is not the paying customers job to do so, I would keep calm. Eventually get my stuff and write a long nasty letter to many people there.

I just talked to my buddy at H&M plating, he said they do cylinders all the time, he maybe able to knock it out.

Call and talk to Jimmy Hairrel, tell him Mike told you to call.713-643-6516

They may have better prices and delivery, not exactly sure, I'm doing this from 5,000 miles away.
