Wow mang, great pictures. Thanks for taking and providing them, and thanks to everyone who posted the links to their pics for all of us to enjoy. My dad was a photographer for some time, and I have the deepest appreciation of people that can take good pictures like these.
Whenever anyone posts really nice pics on MH, someone will always ask what camera did they use. Well, from my understanding, the camera is only a part of the equation. The ability to use the camera to its utmost ability to capture amazing pics like these is whats paramount.
You sir got some talent

Cant wait until I manage to do a trackday that your at, I would love some sweet a** pics like these!

They would be that year's christmas card!!!!!!!!!!

You could probably convince him to be at a track you are at.

No burns... I meant if a few of us got together and properly compensated him then he might entertain the idea of coming out.

Not nearly as funny when I read it that way though!

Actually, Id be very down for something like that. I had a couple moto pic ideas in my head that I wanted someone capable to snap.

interesting....

That's what I'm talking about. I rode every session and particularly the last 2 sessions were my best (my knees were touching the ground) so I'm super excited.:icon_bigg

The hardest part is getting close enough access to the track. It's difficult to get good pictures at MSR unless they let you on the infield or the pit row wall.

I haven't been to other tracks to see how they handle things. I'm certainly willing to go out and take pictures other places if my schedule allows.

Just walk up and ask the man in charge if you can take pics from the infield...wearing full motogear and helmet! :laughing6

Generally speaking they usually do not mind letting you out to certain corner working station areas to take pics as long as you are not soliciting the sale of them afterwards. A couple of guys had a private photographer at TWS (Texas World Speedway) a while back who got some great shots.

Very nice. Same setup I use. How did you like the 70-200?

I am thinking about renting an 80-200 next time. Much lighter lens and I would
like to try it out.

Again, very nicely done.

Thank you! I would actually like to go the other way and try out a 200mm/f2 VR. :laughing6

Mike,
If we buy a print do we get a copy of the original file? I would like to use the pic online as well.

buy all of them (digital download) and then you can use them as you like for personal use.

when you do the web address will be removed from the pic then you can select the size pic you want and 'save as'

or get a CD from him.
