thanks.

1. Trailer/truck it to Kerrville!
2. Start ride early.
3. Ride down 16 to 337.
4. ride the 335, 336, 337 loop.
5. Eat lunch at bent rim grill.
6. Ride back to kerville.

Me and a few buddies are actually planning a trip to the sisters soon. We have been so may times we are like tour guides for that area...might do the first weekend in June. Trailer Friday and ride Saturday.

If there is interest I can post ride.

That's fine just hang in the back and ride slow at your own pace. We will wait up on the straights . We pick it up in the twistes but don't get to crazy in the straights.

I used to do day trips all the time there. I would get up early, drive to Helotes, park the truck and trailer in the Home Depot Parking lot, head up hwy 16 in a hurry...then hit 337 and off we went. Pretty simple and not too bad of a day. We would get home in a decent amount of time.

Done.

Leathers are your call. I've only worn them out there once, and never will again. Leather jacket, knee protectors, gauntlets and boots are plenty.

Depends entirely on your pace. We've knocked out 370 hill country miles in right at 6 hours, including lunch and gas stops.

I always wore my leathers...not worth getting skin damage. Those rocks on the road are not nice. Not to mention the deer. I know several people that have hit deer out there. Including our own Chris (Solracer)
