I got my first taste of riding in the rain! It was a new experience for me and I learned alot about traction control! Overall it turned out to be a great day! The afternoon riding was great and I learned a lot! I think I am really gonna love the track at TWS (Texas World Speedway) once I get used to all that space! It is so easy to get lost and find a good solid line when you have so much track to work with! By the end of the day I was getting pretty comfortable and having a wonderful time!

It was fun hanging out in the pits with everyone! Lord knows we had pleny of time to sit around and cut up! Can't wait to get back out there!

There is no way you got 80miles more than me. I was out there every time you were.

in optimizing his front suspension, he moved his speedo/odometer cable to the rear wheel...

so this is (of course)... a direct result of spinning up the rear on corner entry AND exit...

Ok so lets break it down...

280mi at 3mi per lap = 93 laps.

Lets say you ran 2 minute lap times(with it raining). In 20 mins you're gonna get about 9 laps(and im being very generous with the lap times since some people don't even run 2mins laps in the dry).

so 93 laps at 9 laps per session = 10 sessions. All this while raining.

Either lots of seat time or someone was running their bike on the rear stand :icon_bigg

Man I had a blast yesterday! Group A rocked only 10-12 riders thus no traffic

I had lefft since the forescast looked like it was only going to get worse but then turned back around once I saw the blue patch in the sky. During the afternoon the MH crew got to go out and play in an essentially empty track ....it rocked!

One run off for the day:BangHead: but was able to keep the bike up on two.:icon_bigg

Everyone looked great out there .

Thanks to Jimmy, Jet, SVMike, Tony, Moe(explaining tome that with a twin you stay on the gas not only through T1 but T2) and everyone else out there who made yesterday a great event. Can't wait to do it again(this sat at msrh and maybe TWS (Texas World Speedway) on the 2nd)

Dude, thanks for the tips. I followed your advice a couple times by doing what you told me to in T1 (secret) and yes your right the bump is less. But for some reason i still feel comfortable taking it really low, same less bump feeling. Thanks again for letting me follow you.

Negative. You joined me later on for most of the sessions. See i was riding in both "B" n "A". There were not many riders in "A" (before lunch - with hard rain), so i asked the grid persons (AlRova) if i could go, he said yes and i went. You can ask him. Later on, you joined me.

Check Check. One full tank and one 5 gallon tank was spent. When rain predictions are high - i come loaded with Gas.

I'm no Edwards or Rossi - probably not even 1/4 of their talent here. But when it rains - i can ride. Still have'nt figured out how i can ride for a long time on a big bike - yet i can't ride for long on a mini. (NSR50 to be exact).

I did'nt have my laptimer on the bike, but i'm pretty sure i was'nt running 2:00s. :eh: I wish i could run 2:00s!

Plain simply put it was just a heck lotta seat time. I would basically go ride in "B" then "A" back to back then sit out for "C", then go out again. Then later on they had open track session for all riders - which i obviously made the most of. :icon_smil

PS: Not sure why lately every one has had the heat on me. Relax guys - seriously, it's not good for health. :laughing6
