Boots for Weekend and DD

My old komodo's fell apart and were really too much boot for dd use. I will probably buy a set of puma's for full leather use, but I am looking for a decently looking casual boot. They have to be somewhat protective, easy to walk around in, and not look like some euro hipster. Not wanthing to spend more than a few hundred, prefer less actually.

I don't know if you ever commute in rain, but I've really liked my Icon Patrol boots. Comfortable, mostly waterproof. I wear them both on and off the bike, but with the buckle closure they do look a little like ski boots.

TCX also makes a pretty good looking set of boots, if you can get away with "sneakers".
Quite a few different options really, depending on your price point...

Rev It makes some good looking, low-profile boots that offer some protection, but they get a little more expensive.
