Astros have four home runs in attempt to win ninth straight game

The Astros are winners of their last eight games, and are closing in on a ninth Saturday.

The Seattle Mariners had a 3-2 lead after two innings Then Houston turned the game into a home run derby.

In the bottom of the third inning, Evan Gattis hit a two-run home run and Colby Rasmus hit a solo shot to give the Astros a 5-3 advantage.

Jose Altuve gave the Astros a more comfortable cushion with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third frame. Luis Valbuena followed it up with a home run for himself to make it 9-3.
