X-grip is the ticket.

That front strap over touchscreen is a lame idea. As for using a $600 smartphone as a bike light, that's like using your wife's 1-1/2 carat diamond to cut glass.

These work on motorcycles? Seems like it would just fall out the bottom since it's only supported on the sides.

I've used the X-grip for several yrs now, over rough pavement and at speed and with different phones. Never a problem.

You're welcome. The only thing I would suggest is cut a piece of self-adhesive foam tape to cover the round center. When I first used mine, that hard plastic center started to wear on the Otterbox case over my phone. With the foam tape, perfect.
