That was an incredible lap. The Yahmaha looking very smooth on corner entry this year. Polar opposite to last.

Marquez very quick as well. Looks like could be another tire strategy race. This time Lorenzo's the rabbit.

I was thinking about asking if anyone had been. I got grandstand tickets last year and we were pretty happy with the spot. Do you think general admission and walking around is the way to go or is there a grand stand/turn that you would recommend?

I posted some pics in another thread, and as you will see there is great GA viewing on the infield. To get a good spot in the GA areas means staking your claim and holding onto it. So I preferred to hang out in the infield until lunch time and then go to my seat for the races. I was at the bottom of the water fall, Grandstand 11, but the feeling I got was any of them will do and offer multiple views of the track as there is tons of elevation change there and the tack is tying itself around in knots.

Did nobody watch the MotoGP race yet.. or is everyone still speechless.

That was perfection. Good job by the others just to stay close.

Incredible race, this year is starting very well.....it was great to see Jlo riding smooth and in control again...wish the doc would have continued his charge in the last few laps...he was too tied up in the beginning of the race to catch Marquez

Rossi said afterwards he ran out of front tyre chasing hard and in fairness MM picked up his pace when threatened.

There's a guy in a land down under probably baiting up a hook as we speak who would fill that vacancy nicely! Come on HRC do the right thing

Not the action packed Jerez GP we've come to expect over the years but watching Rossi's charge and the battle for tenth was riveting.

And a lesson in perfection from JLo who found his mojo

In the post race press thingy someone asked Marquez if he could tell HRC to hire stoner.

I honestly fell asleep for 2-3 laps in the middle there. Maybe because I was tired and woke up early to watch it live while still in bed. Good to see Jorge finally riding in his normal fashion but it was honestly for me a boring race. For some reason I knew Rossi wasn't going to catch Marc.

If you have motogp video pass, go to 42:20 in the moto2 race. Turn the volume up and you can clearly hear a fart.

Stoner wanted to replace DP for COTA, but Honda denied him. If Stoner came back, it may cause issues with the team. MM is the clear #1 rider on the team.
