I'm guessing just Lone Star or Coors, as those are what they give us for $2. Good beer is expensive there.

HOA escalates and after $2200 bucks in fines and HOA lawyer costs, turns out to be only ONE neighbor. The same neighbor drinking my beer and teaching the kids how to ride!

I'm totally dumbfounded...
OK, as far as the original topic, Dude sounds like a total . It does sound like there's got to be some reason behind what he's doing.

How did it escalate like that? I saw you mentioned lawyer fees, so I'm guessing part of that was you being out of town and the fine not being paid in a timely manner?

I'm sure not all HOA's are the same as mine, but how can they fine you for something like that? Seems like if it was a violation of a deed restriction they would have to prove it, and for something like riding dirt bikes it seems like it would require a citation from a LEO. At least that's how ours seems to be set up. Seems like the only thing ours fines for are vehicles with expired registration in the driveway though.

"I was offshore". Wait, what? For like a year? Who checks your mail? Weren't the HOA citations sent certified? Can they prove it was your kids each time they were observed? This must have been a long time coming, or you did a poor job negotiating.

I will if my trophys will let me make it out the door , you already know my rule when it comes to my kiddos and me getting out of the house, if they tell me to sit and watch movies then that's what I do and if he tells me bye and gives me a hug then that means I can escape from the house and hop on the bike and go

Dude, why are you so sensitive? Nobody has taken any shots at you, your wife, or your kids. Not once in this whole thread. Everyone is yankin your chain because you got all offended at a rather innocuous comment. Please don't think that we're all here trying to talk on you or your family, you just need to understand that some people have a more vulgar vernacular than you are used to.

That's a lot of big words and I don't understand what they mean , but I agree with whatever he says
