Depends on the cop if mirrors matter to him. But I think you are required to have at least one on your bike.

Never been messed with for mine when i had them on the 636 or the 10 i have now. Ive been stopped and they still dont say anything about them. Its the plate being displayed clearly and the speeding that attracts them. lol

Being safe (i feel) is looking over my shoulder. The mirrors are a waste either way but if they work for you, thats cool man.

well, on his bike, they should actually be functional and provide a pretty decent view behind him, if i remember what those bikes are setup like. same thing with the 650R, but for some reason the zx's have horrible mirror placement, all new sport bikes do for some reason.

yeah on mine i cant see in my left mirror due to the bend in the mirror but i can see maybe 1 lane over in my right one....its weird.....but im also 6' 2'' and 245 lbs (ex college football player) so i got really wide upperbody plus the jacket doent really help me at all so basically for me its like im on a 636

I've had mine off since I painted my bike and i've never had anyone except my dad tell me to put them back on. Granted I kinda wish I still had them on my bike. it's way more safe with them on I dont care what anyone says! but, my bike is a show bike and i'm looking for some nice chrome looking ones that aren't stock and just cant find any so i'm stuck in block off mode till then. Sure it looks cooler but way safer with them on.
