trust me....even with the good suspension....you'll still feel the bumps. just gotta suck it up and hammer the throttle through it. the suspension just helps feel more stable, the bumps will always be there though.

thanks and yeah, I'm absolutely positive that it was my first day on the track. Been riding the street for almost 8 years now, yesterday was the first time I really got to ride the bike (hill country i.e. Leakey area comes in a close second). I know I wanna hit that trackpipe a few more times this year.:icon_bigg

i had 3 jacked up sessions.....1st session, my shifter rod went spinning and sent my shifter to the floor. 2nd session, the secondary shift rod completely came off and made me come, i was stuck in 4th gear from the diamond's edge all the way in. 3rd session my new rearsets were painfully in a bad position and i had to come in to adjust them.

not really a good day for me. i only made 1 session i would call decent. nevertheless i still had a blast, but i'd like to know my true best lap time. can't wait til the 30th....time to rip it up.
I was behind you when you got stuck in fourth, I was wondering what hapened.

Somedays are just like that. Just testing and tuning... but once it comes together things feel better then ever out there.

All around good time at the track on Saturday. The rain sucks when you have slicks but the track dried quick each time. Thanks Buck!

I think I caught some air going into T2. 1 second I was on my line... then i put the hammer down and was on the outside line.

Yeah Saturday was a blast. This track day felt much slower and more controlled and I enjoyed it a ton. Even got to get a knee down a couple times. I can't wait until I stop being poor so I can go more often.

He is a member here, not sure if he has a website. I think he will probably post up some teasers and then sell CD's like Chris did for the 6/2 GO trackday:eh: I think....

No I was on the yellow alstare GSXR 750. Didn't go down Saturday. Glad to hear that everyone that did go down wasn't too hurt, including the guy that broke his collar bone on the parade lap :eh:

yeah, that was a weird feeling....trying to downshift and wondering where the my shifter went :laughing6 :laughing6 :laughing6 to top it off, it happened twice that day :confused2 going to be using plenty of loctite from now on.

and as for photos.....
mnovelle (mike) was the designated photographer for the day. he has awesome pictures for everybody. i think it'll take some time loading up a few thousand pictures and seperating people's pictures from each other. if you pm him the description of your bike, helmet, leathers, i'm pretty sure it would help him to find the pictures quicker.
