Had a blast at my first trackday. I really liked the format - Round Robin 1st session helped a lot with the lines. And every time I asked the instructors something, they seemed happy to help, but otherwise let me ride my ride. Also, liked not having to worry about oncoming traffic if I happened to run a little wide (which I did on a few occasions :icon_bigg ) Big fun tearing it up out there - got a chance to really see some of the things I need to work on or change. Thanks to Jim/Texlurch for hauling me and the Rex out there. Thanks to Patrick/Motorcycles Unlimited for for helping gear me up and getting my suspension setup - bike handled great.
Had a good time hanging and BS'n in the pits too. Defintley a great experience.

Jimmy - I think you scowled at me and Jim when we signed in yesterday morning at the gate. Also at the BBQ area, there was only diet coke and no diet Pepsi. We want our money back...

yeah, that's me with the black suit and houseofpain on the back.

seems like i'm not the only guy with parts coming loose

i had 3 jacked up sessions.....1st session, my shifter rod went spinning and sent my shifter to the floor. 2nd session, the secondary shift rod completely came off and made me come, i was stuck in 4th gear from the diamond's edge all the way in. 3rd session my new rearsets were painfully in a bad position and i had to come in to adjust them.

not really a good day for me. i only made 1 session i would call decent. nevertheless i still had a blast, but i'd like to know my true best lap time. can't wait til the 30th....time to rip it up.
