I sucked yesterday! I just wasn't feeling it so I decided not to push it! It was a little dissappointing conidering the stellar day I had on 6.2. But I had fun getting to talk to everyone and get some seat time. Glad you had fun!

The addiction is there now and the anticipation for hte next track day is growing. All in all it was great stuff. Just the sensation of ripping through turns not worrying whats coming behind is awesome. Still need to work a little on body position.

Thanks to Houseofpain (tony) for all your help and support through the day. I really appreciate the ride there and back! Thanks buddha for your hospitality. Don I had fun running through noob section with you. Oh yeah and johneric thanks for your A/C haha.

This is definitely the better way of riding =)

I had a great time as well. For it only being my second track day and all. I orginally started out in the "regulas" group and chose to move to the Noob group. And not because I was scared!!! Trust me I was being passed and and did not scare me. Although I was really tense and could feel it in my arms, and just could not get my body positioning right. Josh said he followed me during a regular session and said my lines looked better than last track day, but I was going slower.

So once I moved to the NOOB group I already felt more relaxed. Still ran slower than the last track day I did, think it was bc of the rain had me spooked. But atleast I was able to work on my body positioning and my lines.

Thank you Gonzo for following me and giving me tips!!!

Yep, yesterday was really fun inspite of all the morning rain. The afternoon sessions dried out and people were able to get their seat time.

I wanted to say I'm sorry to the novice group because I didn't get to work with you guys very much. I only rode the 9am session, then 1 regular session in the afternoon and then only 2 halves, or less, of two afternoon novice sessions. In the afternoon I got some serious leg cramps (both legs) and my FINGERS started cramping up also. Thanks to my fellow instructors who jumped in and helped the people I was going to help. :notworthy Also thanks to JonEric for the banana, my wife for massaging my leg cramps, and JUAN AND JAVIER for calling me Charlie Horse Derek but offering no assistance......:laughing6 punks!

And a HUGE thanks to Clyde for letting me take the Ducati out for 3 laps. That thing was a blast, but I was too afraid to crash it so I was rolling SLLLOOWWWW. haha. That bike sounds AMAZING.

I had a blast also, got to meet a few new people. The rain was not too bad it was good to have a few little breaks or else i would of had to call it an early day. I also was finally able to see lap times and i turned a 1:53
