I once had the City of La Marque blow 2 struts on a CRX I had and put 2 dents in the hood.

That sucks! The city will pay to replace it BTW. Go get a picture of the pothole and contact them. Get 4 or so estimates on a replacement. You'll need to send them the quote and pictures, but they will pay for it. My neighbor just got his check for a damaged 26 inch rim.

Wow I had no idea that the city would take ownership of their crappy roads like this. Good to know.

I wonder if the US government will do the same, anybody got their contact info? LEO and speed limit enforced public road in Big Bend National Park caused this last month.
