OK, I need to be educated.

Is this law specified by track? Per some instructor/rider ratio? Length and width of track calculation?

I am genuinely curious what law this is and how it is structured to define how many riders the law allows.

Can you point me to the law? I was not aware of it.

I just hope everyone got and "gets" the email about not trying to get out there and set a PB or break the lap record for the last time at TWS (Texas World Speedway). The last time I was there we lost almost 3 hours due to transports. There will be a lot of bikes out there so everyone needs to keep their egos in check, and ride with in their limits because with that many riders the potential to ruin everyone's day is super high. RED flags= no beno, Yellows are all that great either!

Just show up and ride. I don't honestly see the issue...

If I'm right, there is NO passing rules in L3. So there shouldn't be any black flagging due to a close pass. Again, show up and ride. If you're going to and complain, stay home and watch t.v

Rain or shine.... Unless the track managment feels it is too dangerous to ride (extreme downpoors, lightning, tornadoes, etc.)

II have found that if you take the time to install your rain tires on the spare set of rims, it is much less likely to rain.

Instructing Sunday... See ya'll there.

It's a motorcycle school with just a track day for lvl3 guys. Passing rules are for safety of students and instructors. I don't know why students like to spend an entire classroom session having a Q&A about passing. You are in class to learn riding techniques. If you have a question about passing, you are not ready for that responsibility. Use the time wisely to get the most out of it, not gather excuses for why you were riding like an asshat.

Sorry, ninenine, this is neither directed at you nor is it a response to your reply. You just reminded me of something I needed to get off my chest.

You can ride unless there is lightening, if so the track gets red flagged.

Still looking? Or was it maybe a Ride Smart rule and not a TX law?

Yesterday in lvl 2 they gave a break down of riders per track with regard to bunch up and congo lining. They set the number of riders so that there is 400 ft of track per rider. " For every 2 riders that are bunched up on each other, there's two football fields of space somewhere else on the track".
