Meh Tune boxes are overrated for slip ons, cats or no cats

Back to the cost vs value, what good is a tune box w/o a good tune? So box +tune =$800

In getting essential a $100 box w my big bore kit, vs a PC5 , WBC =$500, Is the pc5 worth 5x as much

Doubt it

What'd your valves look like? Or did you ever check those?

Did you drill a few holes in your airbox add a K&N filter

Still not enough IMO to worry about an controller

Why worry about a quick shift? You going after some lap record?

You bought a good practical bike, not a SS bike. The rider makes the biggest diff on these machines.

Spend the $ on learning how to ride it well

Believe it or not, I saw it in person back when we were both working at Fluor (so probably before 2010).

I will take this as food for thought. Not in a rush to do any mods this minute besides suspension. And maybe a better headlight set up for those late night rides. Some clown almost caused a pile up driving on 45 south today. Was funny to see the jerk ed delayed reaction of some and the crazy adjustments of others.
