A few more bought

Most full exhaust systems delete the cat entirely

I have a Yoshimura slip-on on my 2012 FZ8. I want to cut out the cat and replace with straight pipe then wrap the headers.

That would look ugly and not necessarily give you more power

Your wanting to cut on the factory exhaust?

Do they Make afull system for your bike?

It will be fine. You will want to get a PC or bazzaz and tune the bike though. And yes, you will see more power.

Bikes are not sniff tested for emissions

You have to figure out, is it worth it

Vs spending your $ on learning to ride vs trying to make bike faster w slow rider

Bike is plenty fast

Redo exhaust $100
Pc5 $400
Tune $400

Track day $200

I posted because that's when I joined the forum. I got my motorcycle last year as a gift to myself for getting out of the Marines honorably. I got out september so i bought it a couple months before that.

I ride because I'm enjoying life. And it's not about making it faster just a thought. I do plan track days, Next year. Kind of pricey to move to my own place and be a college student. Hopefulky by next year all the mods I wanna do I will have done already so will just be buying leathers and paying for track days.

You're still a new rider, lol

Spend the $ improving yourself

The bike is plenty fast

Now if your goal is to make it louder, then remove the cats but then why get a pc5?

And thanks for your service!

He might still be a new rider, but at least he recognizes the need for a fuel controller when eliminating the cat, lol.
