Cat people - Need your help please

A few weeks ago my daughter and I were home and there was a frantic knock on the door. When we answered it there was a little girl on the porch telling me that some kid named "Angel" was killing one of my cats.

We feed the neighborhood cats (f/u people that would rather let them starve) and when I looked this shitbag kid had the kitten raised over his head and he threw it to the concrete and ran off when I ran out there.

He had tried drowning the kitten in the ditch, kicked it and was bouncing it off the sidewalk trying to kill it because he said "it was ugly."

I did cpr on the little guy, he threw up and was really weak but held on. A few phone calls to some friends and the animal cruelty investigator with Harris County was at my doorstep. He talked to the kids that knew this serial killer in the making and he radioed for backup because the kids told him that the dad was a convict on parole.

They did encounter problems with the family but CPS showed up and took custody of this kid. He had already gained their attention in kindergarten when he crawled under the lunch table and "touched the girls."

He is currently in foster care awaiting a hearing and I've been told that he is not going back to his parents because of the history and that they would interfere with the intervention that needs to be done.

The Kitten
cat0001

The bone fragments from where the little broke his head damaged his eye permanently, but his broken led healed properly. He is currently at the Humane Society and is in desperate need of a good home. If you can love a one eyed cat who is a survivor, I promise he will love you forever. I will help to pay to spring him from there if you need held with that, but above all help if you can.

AW he is cute, how can you abuse a little guy like that, ahole. I guess I am becoming a softie in my old age, love to help, but remember I have all the wolfs, and it might become a snack.

Little evil sounds like he needs a good whoopin'. I wish I could help the cat but the career takes up more time than I would like to be able to give to a kitty. Hope he finds a good home though. Good luck with that!

I see stuff like this all the time. my husband and I are apart of a husky rescue called husky haven and they taken in abused huskies. but back to the subject, I can post a bulletin on their forum and maybe some will come forward and adopt this poor little kitten.

Thanks Eastman, I would appreciate all your efforts. I'm maxed out on cats at home right now and as much as I'd love to take this little one in, I just can't right now.

I think that it's around $70, call the Houston Humane Society and ask about the cat that was abused by the 6 y/o. If they don't have the info on it PM me and I'll give you my address where the incident occurred and I'll gladly give it to you or someone who is interested. If you give a couple of hours I can get you the business card of the deputy that responded to the call. He came by today and brought me a pic of the kitten.

I'll be glad to cover the adoption fee if needed, I'd just like to see him go to a good home.

No, on the contrary he's been cared for personally by the vets at the Houston Humane Society and was nearly dead when the Constable took him in. If you would have seen him the day the psycho serial killer gonna be got a hold of him you would have wept.

I was really afraid that this little guy wasn't going to make it or that they would have to put him down, but he's a survivor and looking for a good loving home.
