Coach Dave

Hello, I'm Dave's daughter. There are many of you that I have met before and after the passing of my father and I've been looking through and reading all the great things everyone has said about him and it truly does make me happy knowing that he touched so many lives in the short amount of time he was a member of this site. So I registered a few years ago and was about to buy my first bike but some unexpected things got in the way and I have yet to buy one, Eh..... I'll get one soon no worries. Anyways I'd love to talk with anyone who knew him and maybe tag alone on some rides as well once I get my bike. Thanks!

I rode with your dad quite a bit. You might remember f,f&f... We joked about that a lot. He was a good man. I miss him. I'd be happy to ride with you.

I remember f,f & f. He always walked around saying it. Mom doesn't want me to have one. She's terrified and I understand her reasonings. When you love something as much as I love bikes you can't stop anyone from gettin or doing what you love. I'd love to ride with all of you some time. Can't wait!

Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. All you can do is mitigate the risk by making sure you're always geared up, alert, and diligent when riding. My parents did everything they could to stop me from getting a motorcycle, and it is extremely painful for them to know that I now own one. They don't understand that I refuse to live my life in fear of "what if" and insist on doing things that I'm passionate about. They say it's flagrantly risky, but to be quite honest it is a much more calculated risk.

Dave was a great guy. I've done probably 20+ rides with him, and still think of him when I see blue bonnets. I don't have any street bikes these days, but it's cool to see his life coming out through you.
