Crf150f street tard question.

Has anybody on here ever wired a 2005 crf150f for a headlight and taillight with the stock stator? Or does anybody have any reviews on the baja designs kit? I've already done the cr85 suspension, excel takasago's 17s with tires. Just trying to figure how to wire my headlight and taillight to run off the power of the stator due to the bike being kickstart

The Baja Design kits are worth it on the long run because its all nice and neatly don't already. According to their website the stock stator will not run a headlight and tail light..The kickstart has nothing to do with powering the head light and taillight. Its about how much the stator can handle without robbing power to run the CDI....

XR/CRF80's & XR/CRF100's require lighting coil part# 30-0112 to run this kit. See related items.
-CRF150's & CRF450's require stator rewind to run this kit. The stator must be sent to Baja Designs to have this service performed. Price is $120 for the CRF150, $150 fo the CRF450. 3-5 day turnaround time. Please call 760.560.2252 for an order number prior to sending

plenty of youtube videos on how to rewind the stator yourself if you want to do it

I've heard "TheMagicMan" (Chad?) will do stator rewinding. He's local, and (from what I hear) has really good pricing.

You can wind the stator yourself for $20 or pay Chad to do it on a 50 or 150 or 450, lots of info online or on YouTube
