Being who you are in the criminal justice ladder, hopefully the DA will go after them for restitution and you won't have to bother with the civil .

They just f*cked with the wrong man's bike.

yeah!! the second time my bike was stolen some of us here were wondering if it were someone on the board because just mere hours after me posting that it was stolen and that it had lo-jacke, it was found a few miles from my house on its stand in the MIDDLE of a residential street, steering still locked, without a scratch. i wonder if it was the same guys.....

damages being all of the time lost riding with your friends... that time cannot be replaced and those are memories you'll never have... to me that's worth a few grand!!

Well, the "free" upgrades probably came from 5 different bikes that 5 other people had stolen.:eh: I'm glad to hear you got yours back, maybe it will lead to more being found. As for it being someone off this board, I wouldn't doubt it. I have seen this happen before on another board. A place where everyone feels secure as they type before the screen. Think of the peeps you talk to on here, do you know them all? Probably not. I would love to hear who it was when the time is right. G/L in the justice system and fill us in as you can.

Well, ya know how criminals like to revisit the scene of the crime, keep track of related news events and whatnot. My bet's on someone from post #2 to post #53 being the culprit.

j/k Congrats on the recovery! It's nice to finally hear a happy ending for once.

I would really like to know where your bikes were and how they were taken from anyone who has had one stolen.

I am pretty much paranoid of ever leaving my bike anywhere that I can't see it or where it's not locked up. Mine would be super easy to take.

You should have put Lojack on your bike. You would have got it back within a few hours of it being Stolen. www.Lojack.com

Jerrel,
Glad you got your bike back but I wouldn't put to much faith in our criminal justice system. A guy was caught on my bike (also an f4i) and was aquitted!!! He was fleeing from the police at a high rate of speed, finally dropped the bike and started running before he was apprehended. The bike had no tags, no lights, had been spray painted black, vin number erased, and ignition broken. Since we couldn't PROVE he stole the bike we tried for a UUMV but lost. AND...I had one of the best DA's prosecuting because my sister is and attorney and was able to pull some strings. I have the name and address of the loser who was "charged" with stealing my bike but I can't post it because that would be slander :eh:
