IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT PP1; PLEASE READ IF U FREQUENT

Ok so last night i was approached by the African American (he's from Africa) security guard who advised me that the owner of the property has received SEVERAL COMPLAINTS from various outlets about THE BIKERS that come up there.

Apparently some of us are MAD DISRESPECTING the property with "LOUD REVVING, BURN OUTS, DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOR TO THE OTHER PATRONS & SECURITY GAURDS, SPEEDING THRU THE PARKING LOT, " etc, etc. OH and WE WON'T STAY ON THE PATIO!!!

He didn't say we were banned from pp1 YET, but the owner apparently has asked the security guard to contact him, if a huge crowd shows up so that he could monitor the problems himself.

GIRLS/GUYS, I for one can understand where they are coming from as I have witnessed a few things done by the bikers that I haven't been proud of, so from now on be on good behavior or risk MORE RAIDS BY THE LEOS &/or a complete PROHIBITION of bikes at pp1!!!!

What do ya'll think? Should we find a new PP1 NOW, or just start acting civalized and accept their "warning", I've even put a poll up!

It's only takes a few bad apples to ruin the whole bunch.

If you move to a new spot it's only a matter of time before they show up there. Why not pull the offenders aside and talk to them?

I've been up there a few times, and it hasn't been too bad...

...but having said that, I voted for finding another place. I doubt that most of the squids frequent this board, and if they did, they wouldn't change their behavior anyhow.

Just my $0.05

...are the offenders the minority or the majority?

but yea, until some people start standing up, acting properly and pushing, convincing others to do the same the problem with will remain, even if the location changes.

I really do think a lot of the people who hang out there bought their bikes just so that they could hang out there.

MH'ers are the minority there. That is a generalized biker hang out spot. We as in MH'ers could behave but we cannot control the outside element. I say find a MH only spot and let the good times roll.

From the few times I've been there I'd say minority. I've seen a lot of people revving up their bikes though. That's uncalled for and will get us thrown out of an area quick.

pp1 , asi , fast eddies, hooters, blue building on 45s....any meet spot

it doesnt matter where, someone will show up and burnout, rev up, launch hard, wheelie the adjacent street , endo into parked bikes and ppl, and then that particular spot will get more attention from squids and repeat cycle, no spot is safe

make a meeting spot then go out and cruise (normally), enjoy the "ride"
not the parking lot

No you can't control, but you can influence... particularly with communication and support with/from the security guards, owners/managers of the local shops etc.

Yes, you will upset some people...but it can/will earn the aprpeciation of others and could help to improve the way some of the general populace views 'us' as a community in general.

if we make a new pp1 does it have to be a place thats 24hrs? the places that i have lived before, we would meet in big parking lots. try to stay away from business. it would be more of a "meeting place", look and talk about bikes and then go ride. it got so good it almost looked like a bike show every week!
just my .2 cents!

I was aproached one night about the same thing but if you look it is not the bikers that are cuasing the most prolems it is the ricers yeah maybe a handfull of squids might come through there on a busy night but the cars are the most wreckless them kids really go flying through the parking lot. I am calm there. I say pick a new spot in the same area but it would never be the same unless there is as much eye candy at the new spot if picked
