How much fuel did he use on that lap?

Rossi had the fastest lap at 1'55.267

Better watch it Bevo, Ducati followers don't take kindly to anyone bashing their beloved Italian steeds!

Bevo is right, but he failed to mention that both ducatis did go faster than both Hondas.

I'm not a Ducati fan either, real Italians will probably chase you down for insulting anything Italian.

I must have misunderstood the 'concessions' ruling.
Ducati have 22 liters from here to seasons end no matter if they win every race.

The only thing they can loose is the qualifying tire with 3 wins.

The rule book is easiest thing to read on this, start page 65.

http://www.fim-live.com/en/library/d...ry/no_cache/1/

Notice that MotoGP class motorcycles are those things circulating at the back, also known as Open Category bikes.

Everthing finishing ahead of them are exemtions to those rules.

The first exemption being the factory option, ie, 20 liters, frozen engine design, 5 engines per year, max 5 days in seassin testing, write your own software.

Then next is the exemption to the exemption, the factory's without results.

These have same rules as the open category but get to write their own code. Ie. 24 liters, no engine freeze, 12 engines, open testing in season (within 120 tire alotment).

As they do better they get closer to factory option, but never all the way there.

For this year as a result of all this we have four categories

Open, (Nicky Hayden and co.)
factory options, (mM, DP, JL, VR, CC, SR)
factory's without results, (apilla, suzuki)
Factory's with some results (Ducatis of Dovi, iannone, Hernandez, petruci)

For next year the concessions will be more logical and ultimately they arrive at the same place, 22 liters. So it's going to be an increase for yahmaha in 2016, over what they are runnig now but the same for where ducati are now.

You posted the word "faster" and you failed to be correct when you posted that a Duc had the fastest lap.

We were already on lap times, and the average speed of the ducs was also faster. Since faster is a only a comparative adjective you would have to use the context to figure out what it is referring to.

Also there is some controversy on the fastest speed since the speed trap is way before the braking point the on board readings had the Ducati going faster than the Honda at Qatar.

Well context got thrown out the window when you posted that a Duc had the fastest lap. I'm only posting official info from motogp.com so go argue with them.

A Ducati did have pole, a Ducati also holds the circuit lap record.

It doesn't have the fastest lap or best poll

I must be confused myself... The link posted for the motoGP 2015 does say Fastest Lap 2015 "Marc MARQUEZ (SPA) HONDA 2'02.135 162.4 Km/h" I thought that's what you asked for... Am I missing something?
