Yeah, me too!

Or using standard tires, or fewer engines, etc., etc..

Just because they're up front, doesn't mean they're "competitive"!

Standard tires as in the ones they used in Qatar, that were exactly the same as all the Hondas?

Dovi used the softer rear to qualify, and ran the "normal" tire for the race.

So you're half right, but mostly wrong

Sorry I just saw him run the fastest lap of the race on the exact same tires that Honda got 5th and 6th on.

The good news is we will never have to know.

Next year fuel limits increase to 22 liters as the lowest possible.

This should also see the spark added back to Yahmaha thats been missing since last year.

Quick word for those thinking Ducati have some kind of unfair advantage.

Consider that what happened here was Honda tightened the noose on all the others by using their influence to propose changes to the rules to suit their advantages, ie. better reliability and fuel consumption than the others.

As Dorna, the series organizer, was already convinced that freezing engine depelopment would save cost, all that was left was to make the technical rules progressively lower the fuel limit and engine allowances. This is exactly what has been occurring each season over the past few years.

In the end, Honda with Yahmah the willing accomplice, pushed the exemptions so far as to alienate all the others into a different category.

Long story short Ducati are running within what the rules were at the start of 1k's and within what they will become for 2016.

So if Ducati podium in the next 2 races and better still get a win are they not then restricted to 20l??

I must have misunderstood the 'concessions' ruling.

The next concession that they lose is the tires after three dry wins.
