I don't trust anyone but Motorcycles Unlimited. Patrick will always treat you right each time you take your bike in. Despite the distance, it's more worth it to take it to Motorcycles Unlimited than anyone else in my opinion. I was never steered wrong from day one.

yep, Motorcycles Unlimited will call if they find something "out of the norm" while performing the requested work. For instance, recent carb job done by Motorcycles Unlimited....3 out 4 something or another related to the jet seats (or something) needed replacing. Motorcycles Unlimited said they could do the job with the existing, but I might be back in 6 months with more carb related issues. I opted to spend the extra coin while he was in there vs. dealing with it later. top notch and open lines of communication....can't be beat. Same happened with my fork rebuild recently...he wanted approval for 2 items that were extremely worn that he did not suggest I put back in the forks....so I approved the extra $40 bucks or whatever and never looked back.

That's how cheap contractors work. They'll quote you a seemingly cheap price to do "x", but don't include the price to do "y", and then say well you didn't ask us to do "y" even though it was a reasonable assumption that it was part of the work scope to do "x". But then say well do that but it will cost you more, "z".

Dagum, that's crazy. Dunno bout any other shops, but Terri at Team Mancuso (in old ExImport building) sold me. Even charged me his original quoted price.

I now know to stay away from V Eagle Rider haha

long time ago I took my V-ROD once to that place (V Eagle Rider) for something simple that I dont even remember but they treat me right and did a good job, the place is always busy. Anything more complicated and I will only trust Motorcycles Unlimited or I will try to do it my self if I can get the service manual.
