A fiddy on the street?

Yup, it can be done..... if it belongs to the chosen ones.

Quote:
Q: Can I register or title my “pocket bike” or “toy motorcycle” (gasoline or battery-powered scooter), and drive it on the street?
A: Most of these vehicles do not pass a vehicle safety inspection and therefore cannot be registered or driven on public roads. A secure Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin would be required to title any motorized vehicle.

Q: What about my moped, which can pass a state safety inspection?
A: The Texas Department of Public Safety maintains an approved-list of mopeds that is updated quarterly. A secure Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin is required to title any motorized vehicle.
Here is the list of the chosen ones:

ysr50 are all street legal. They were imported as a street bike but no the NSR is not street legal.

ps the ysr is not a moped and needs to be licensed as a motorcycle and need the full motorcycle endorsement to ride it.

edit
pps the bikes on those lists were mopeds the ysr like the r6 is a motorcycle. A moped needs to have a max speed of 30mph and only one gear. The ysr has a max speed of 50 mph(stock) and 5 speeds the r6 has a max speed of 160 mph and 6 speeds.

I think I'd crack up laughing seeing one sit beside me at a red light. :laughing6

i don't think he takes it out of his neighborhood
I have to admit, it would be funny as seeing a fiddy roll up to a stoplight. it would be even funnier seeing him accelerating away on one wheel
