Fall Away Test

Anyone ever had this performed on their bike, or knows how to do this? I've heard that it differs from one bike to the next.

Anyways, I'm getting a wobble at freeway speeds and I'm tired of the pucker effects. I have the bike at a shop right now, but I'm still wanting to learn more about this type of test.

What is the fall away test? I'm assuming you have some worn stem bearings. I can usually put either of mine on the stand and judge how quickly/slowly the bars move left to right on their own whether or not they're bad bearings or not (is this what you're referring to?).

I can tell the bearings on my RM could use a good replacing by the way.

Your assumption is correct. I thought the test was the same for all makes and models, but apparently it is different. What I'm concerned with the most, is all these tests are based on factory bikes... but my bike is far from factory, , I'm sure the only thing factory about my bike is the frame and engine block
