Really? You decided Europe somehow matters in what prices here are?

No I decided that they make the prices whatever they want regardless of if Obamacare is in place or not. The prices were sky high compared to anywhere else in the world long before obamacare was even a concept.
To me that's just some BS excuse for them to raise the prices even higher.

I was just comparing prices of procedures with an economy that is similar to ours.

Don't see the problem with bikers helping bikers in need.

If you don't like, then don't help.

Pretty simple.

Im not talking about BS Obama care really. Anyone could get free emergency care before. Having a PCP is the only really difference I see besides people being taxed for the ACA. is crazy. You pay 14.00 for a tylenol 3 here. Is it because of the 3 others who paid nothing or because insurance will cover it ?

As far a European healthcare goes, we'll see if the 3rd time is the charm after Pedosa heals up from his last surgery.

My premiums stayed the same and my deductible's went down. My coverage is also a whole of a lot better. It's not even comparable.

Maybe it's you guys who are just letting your insurance company hike up your rates, using obamacare as an excuse, without looking elsewhere who are drinking the kool aid.

Look I don't like obama or his views on a lot of things either...but the fact is, as far as how I am being affected by this whole thing... it's better for me than it was before.

BTW I had pre-existing conditions so maybe that is why

1. I can't beat the choices I have through my employer
2. Still, my premiums rose as did my deductible
3. I had great insurance at a great price through that same employer before the government made Shelnutt's life a whole lot easier. You're welcome

More than likely because insurance will cover it. WHat do you think their cost is for tylenol 3? Less than one cent maybe?
If it wasn't 14 dollars before obama care, I bet it was close.

I agree the ACA tax is BS and you should be able to not carry insurance with no penalty. Who would you rather see paying for it though? Retired people or the able bodied working class?
I think we can all agree something needed to change and no matter what system we went with, it had to be funded with tax payer money and no system would have been without some pretty big flaws.

1-3. I still use my employers insurance and my coverage went up while deductible's went down. I'm sorry that your employers insurance has used obamacare as a cop out excuse to rip you off even more.

What he said.

Most people I've talked to who had a good health care plan through an employer seem to be seeing the same thing. I've only talked with one person who's seen a positive impact with ACA, and that was because of her kid's extensive medical bills at a young age and they benefited from the removal of the lifetime maximum. Law went into effect right as she hit the old max at the ripe age of 3.

Hey pigfarmer at least you are covered in case you get knocked up.

I would take my old plan, with lower premiums, lower deductibles, and slightly less benefits any day.

I guess your company's insurance had been ripping your head off before Obama saved the white man

That's all I am saying is that yes, most people kind of got screwed, but a lot of people who REALLY needed good insurance are actually getting it now.

I was hating on it pretty bad too, but now that it has all panned out, it's actually worked out better for me. That's all I'm saying is while yes it sucks for a lot of people, it isn't a complete crock which is how a lot of people portray it.

Do I think it's fair that perfectly healthy people are paying more now? No it's not, but isn't that kind of the whole theory as to how insurance works?
