ya i suck at family trees... my mom was adopted and hated her new family, i never met any of them. and all i had on my dads side was his sister, parents and a couple great uncles. :eh: i'm not big on family.

but a cool little program for someone that is.

The cool thing about this site is that you can add your self and the few people around you. It has an option to include their email address and it will send an invite.. they then can log in and fill in the parts they know, and inviting others etc etc.. You just get the ball rolling. :icon_bigg

I hear ya. I learned about the site on one of the tech podcasts i watch. The guy being interviewed was a co-founder or exec at Paypal.

TIP: by default your user profile is set so that it can be edited by anybody in your family tree. I guess that's so you can add edit those for people who are deceased, or don't have internet access (kinda the same thing, isn't it?) In settings, you can set your profile to "only can be edited by 'ME'"

I have a cousin that would probably do some funky stuff to my profile. So no open editing on my profile! :laughing6
