Well, everyone knows what happened the last race that year...

He pulled a Kevin Schwantz that year--win it or bin it.

Rossi didn't give anything to anyone. He simply was not consistent.
So like I said, with 2 crashes and not scoring on 2 races more than Nicky. One of which isn't even rossi's fault. So without that mechanical, do you think he could have scored 6 points that race? Because that's all it would of took to win.

Nicky was the real deal, sad he doesn't get the credit he deserves really.

I wouldn't count any MotoGP championship as luck. He finished on the box in over half of the races!
Please post link to the dealer where I can buy a Honda with a V-4 81mm bore 1000cc engine without pnumatic valves or seemless gearbox.

The honda open bike has nothing to do with what they run in any other race series or sell to the public.

Same with the open entries of yahmah and Ducati, these are not to be confused with the CRT bikes they replaced.

Consistently top until he was 4th rcv1000 in the championship, but that's because his wrist is jacked to . No matter what you guys say he is still a washed up has been in the motogp class.

And you've won how many races? Let alone world championships.

What does that have to do with anything? I'm not trying to get a spot on repsol Honda or saying that I deserve a spot there.

Just wondering what makes an intermediate trackday rider think he is enough of an authority on moto racing to call Nicky Hayden a washed up has been. He's just massively outgunned, he could be an instant winner in wsbk, but the money keeps him in gp. You should show more respect for the only American currently taking on the world.

Intermediate track day rider? I'm certainly not the fastest but also not intermediate.

I said washed up has been in motogp and the fact that he hasn't done anything worth mentioning in 9 years I think it's pretty accurate. Was he the top ducati while he was there? What about 2007-2008 while he was still with repsol Honda? Not to mention no one seems to care that they took bones out of his wrist. Just like football, you tear an acl and no one will touch you.

actually compaired to the other duc riders at the time I think he was and thats including rossi.

the last couple yrs he was on the repsol he didnt have the same equipment that dani had, that was when they first came out with the pneumatic valves and only dani's bike had it

his honda ride now isnt excatly on the same level as the other open class bikes and certianly cant be compaired to the satallite honda
