Well I found this, so it's very possible he was going to speak against VR

And this
Quote:
Lorenzo, who finished second ahead of Rossi in the Malaysian race and now trails his rival by seven points with 25 available, said Rossi's punishment was inadequate.

"I don't think it's a good decision," he said.

"He took out Marc, and Marc gets zero points, but he gets 16 points.

"I think it's unfair and maybe because of his name he can get no [worse] decision this time.

"It's unbelievable, I didn't believe it.

"It's not fair in this kind of corner to put the bike so that the other rider [falls].

"But it happened, race direction made the decision and we have to respect it - but I don't agree."

Asked what he thought would be a sufficient penalty for Rossi, Lorenzo replied: "Minimum, Valentino should have the same points as Marc.

"He didn't finish the race and scored zero points, so Valentino should get the same."

Lorenzo also suggested the incident will damage Rossi's global standing.

"Not only me, but a lot of people will lose respect for him as a sportsman," he said.

"He's one of the greatest riders in history but I think a lot of people will change their opinions."
Certainly changed my opinion of VR

From the vids I have seen, MM was riding like a , and VR got fed up with it.
He did for sure run MM wide, but there was still plenty of room and tarmac and no real reason for MM to turn back into VR.
And it is extremely hard to believe with the guard on the bar end that VR could reach the brake.. and MM stated that VR bumped his arm and not the lever.
As many times as MM has speared into other riders or run them off the track, seems like karma to me.

I still think all them are the best riders in the world, but boy, they cry like the avg. teenage girl.

Rossi is still a cool ......Marquez.....I wouldnt ride with him. As a matter of fact, I was seriously looking at buying a new Africa Twin.....I'll go buy a Tiger 800 or 1200. If Yammy decides to unleash the Tenere here, I will buy that (not the big Super10).

As for Larenzo....Im neutral on his whiney LOL

Since MM has no chance of winning the championship he should not try to win a race just as an unranked college football team should not try to beat the #1 ranked team that happens to be on their schedule

I have no issue with him trying to win; that's what they are all paid for.

I DO have an issue with riding like an obvious and messing up another riders chances at a championship. If you can watch the laps leading up to his dump and honestly say he was "just trying to win the race" then you definately need to put down the Honda koolaid.

How exactly did he ride differently in Malaysia compared to Australia? Did you hear what the announcers were saying during the race before the crash? If VR can't have better qualifying and race lap times, that's on him.

From what I've seen, yeah he was riding different in Malaysia. I haven't seen the race yet and don't have sound here; I've seen short compilations that look pretty on MM's part.

Seriously?
1. Iannone was really with VR in Australia.
2. Without a tow from MM, VR finished way way back in third. He really screwed himself, except by causing a crash he improved his position by one place.

If rossi is so slow and Marquez is so fast after he burns of some fuel, wouldn't it make sense for MM to just hang back a few laps, make a clean pass and leave VR in the dust?
Instead he was constantly dicing it up, passing and repassing, turn after turn. Knowing he was letting the leaders get father ahead, knowing he was showing rossi down.
Why not back off, let rossi run his race and when he gets a real chance to pass and be gone, go for it?

Because he wanted to up Rossi's championship run

Actually Iannone only had top speed on the straights.. he was riding really well but didn't have the handling later in the race. VR didn't finish that far back and it actually was a pretty good race overall for the first 4 spots.

I've seen MM since his 250 days do stupid over and over, so he doesn't get a pass this time.

I'm pretty sure Marc never rode a 250. He went from 125cc to moto2 which is 600cc.

You saw the entire race in Australia where Iannone was making very aggressive passes on VR, and once blew by MM and VR in a turn in a single pass because VR was so slow?

No, how far back did VR finish in Malaysia because VR didn't have MM to tow him around? Did did he improve is gap at all?

I don't see him looking back at the rider twice, slowing down, running wide, delivering a kick to cause a crash, then partially admit what he did in an interview during the race coverage
