Right. AFTER MM93 hits him first. VR46 pushes off as any of us would in that situation.

He is nudged, he looks, he lifts his leg, he pushes on whatever and MM goes down immediately. You can even see his foot and ankle make a whipping motion.

There are two kinds of people in this argument:

1.)Logical, level-headed individuals who study all information available and form an informed opinion.
2.)Marquez fans.

Im not saying that it can never happen but at that angle where marc's helmet was on rossi's knee there is no way rossi got his foot up to the brake lever.

I started the race pulling for Rossi, during the race I was pulling for Rossi. But after I saw the contact, I had to be honest and admit it was a dirty move.

I shouldn't be surprised by the Rossi fanboys reaction and blind support. Rossi started the fight in the media with trumped up accusations that had everyone scratching their head.

But not the Rossi fanboys, their reaction, well he said it so it must be true.

Clearly Rossi is a washed up, has been. Obviously he's too old to keep up with the younger riders.
He should step aside and give his ride to someone that can WIN, not just do laps.
Apparently he gets a top end ride from Yamaha because he's popular and brings in sponsorship dollars....

Oh wait, he's leading the world championship points battle... again.
Maybe he's not so slow after all...

Yeah, umm.. how many laps has he lead in the last 4 races?

I am a VR fan as well, but I can see through my 46 goggles that the grey bush is way past his time. Seems like thats a sore subject for you

4 races?
If he doesn't have the lead in 4 races it means he can't keep up?
He has lead the points in the championship most of the season, that says more about his pace than not having the lead in 4 races.

In any case, the thread is about what happened at the last race.

It looks to me like he ran MM wide which is a poor choice but it also looks like MM accelerates into VR and then crashes.

The whole argument over telemetry is pointless because even if MM brakes were applied, it doesn't show intent.

AND the idea that in the split second of contact VR was able to intentionally hit MM's brake while looking the other way, trying to negotiate a turn at high speed and trying not to crash, all at the same time is absurd. If MM's brake was applied it was a result of him running into Rossi.

The idea of a kick is meaningless as well. You get your bike going say, 70mph and then have somebody kick it. It won't do .
The inertia and gyroscopic effect from the wheels spinning would be more than a little half assed sideways kick could overcome.

I watched it about a dozen times. The competition between VR and MM was a good watch.

Rossi looks at MM, edge of track, MM, edge of track, MM while running wide as .

Not saying MM didn't have it coming...but I would have appreciated watching them race it out.

MM vs VR made for some great racing as DP and JL road away at the front. To after the first four laps it was clear that neither MM nor VR were going to be content with following the other to the front to contend for second. They both wanted a podium and wanted to secure it early. MM was really aggressive on several of those passes but was also making mistakes and holding VR up in a few spots.

VR's move to intentionally run him wide was just plain un- unsafe, unprofessional, unsportmanlike, and unnecessary. MM tried to turn in anyway initiating the contact which cause VR to buck him off just as anyone of us would. So I don't blame VR for the kick but he lost cool points for being an on track punk about being raced hard.

Mean while my man JL99(love his riding style, but the guy is kind of a whiner) smoothly walks away with the championship.
