Seriously. Something sparked him these last few races, which can keep him riding factory a little longer, but I don't think he could win it all. Ever.
I guess 125cc and 250cc Championships don't count

Huge swing in the championship. Mid race thinking going to be 5 points btwn them with three races to go, only to end up at 18.

Now Lorenzo must have another rider finish between him and Rossi at least once in the next three races to have a chance. In other words Rossi only needs to finish just behind his teammate from here out to win the championship.

Going to come down to Pedrosa, Marquez or another getting in between these two. Que the yellow smoke bombs in Valencia?

Pretty sure only big boys actually win world championships in any classification

Come on Bevo, success at lower levels is expected of any legit MOTOGP rider. We are talking about the best of the best. Plus, nowadays we all have a "what have you done for me lately" kind of attitude. Really, Dani has been riding good.. About as good as anyone without anything to lose. He's lucky he isnt more relevant in the standings or Rossi would have made an example out of him like he did to MM.

Now, pull the red out of your mouth and actually take an objective stance for once.

Ok, Pedrosa's not as good you. You're welcome

What example did Rossi make the last two seasons?

Pretty obvious Honda screwed up the 2015 bike as they're currently using the 2014 frame

I think he tested it didn't he but stuck with the 2015 chassis. Wildly different riding styles though

I believe Marc is the only one that has raced on the 2014 frame this year. I know Dani has only raced on the 2015 chassis but can't say for sure about cal, Jack, Hayden, etc.

I dunno if he made as many excuses about his bike like the repsol kids, at least not as many as when he was riding a Duc

Pedrosa suffers from bad timing. He came on the scene with guys like Stoner and then Lorenzo who both forced Rossi to up his game, and then came Marquez...In another time Pedrosa could easily have been a multiple champion in the so called top class.

Continuing on Marquez and his current problems... His personal manager, elevated by his riders success , went on to tear apart the Repsol Honda team from the inside out and sent Puig, Pedrosa's right hand man, off packing after loosing the internal power struggle last year. With this newfound power in the team Marquez disposed of the rest of Stoners crew and finally installed his own people. Something he wanted to do from the beginning but HRC vetoed. After two successful years Honda have given in but they made Marquez personally tell his crew who helped him to those consecutive championships and immediate success that they need to look for employment elsewhere. We have seen this year that Marquez focus is on aggressive corner entry at the expense of corner exit. He then openly critiqued Honda for making a more radical engine and went back to last years chassis. At the end of day it looks like his team is struggling to set up the bike and Pedrosa has shown smoother can be faster on several occasions.

smoother is faster. They pound that in your head from day one. There is a reason.
