Yes it was Romano finati in Sunday morning warm up. He got 3 penalty points and had to start last on the grid. Still worked his way up to 8th. I hope Rossi fires him though.

passed? Ask Grinchy why he didn't see it then. Did they show it while the race was live?

The guy went from last, to 8th, in a moto 3 field. And you think he'll get fired? Lol

It's Fenati.

If it helps you sleep at night, the only track Marquez can beat Rossi for 2015 is at COTA
As said earlier, track temp significantly cooler on race day and MM/Team wanted to use the hard so my guess is the outlap confirmed in MM's mind that he could use his preferred choice for the race. Cal quoted as saying he regrets not using it! Bridgestone recommended the 'extra hard' btw.
I guess we'll never really know.

I watch BT Sport which now includes Colin Edwards as a guest commentator besides regulars Neil Hodgson, James Toseland, Julian Ryder, previously Eurosport's MotoGP™ commentator of more than 14 years Julian Ryder, Keith Huewen, Motorcycle News chief Grand Prix correspondent, Matt Birt, Gavin Emmett, Craig Doyle, Iwan Thomas and MotoGP's official statistician Dr Martin Raines. (not all pictured)

Mel Sykes (the lady) is no longer with the team, replaced by a blond who's name eludes me.

Marc admits if he hadn't crashed he still would have gotten second place.

I guess we'll never really know.

Considering the conditions on race day matched last year,

Marquez team decided to run the same hard tire they won the race with last year. And his times were right on pace with that, if not actually slightly ahead by a couple seconds.

It just happend that this year, Rossi finished four seconds ahead of that race winning time from last year.

But that is not to say it's just down to extra hard tire either, as Lorenzo was 2.8 sec slower over the total race this year using the extra hard, than last year on the hard tire.

Ducati also looked strong again with Dovi curiously finishing the race in same total time as Pedoras second place the year before.

Looks like Rossi found some extra pace rather than Marquez loosing any.

Stop using sense and logic, Honda and Marc obviously are trying to cover up a big huge conspiracy about tire choice.

So you don't believe Marquez was losing any speed after Rossi moved into 2nd?

Lap 2 was #93's fastest at 1:39.071
Lap 14 1:40.001
Lap 21 was his fastest after lap 14 at 1:39.37
He crashed on 24

No way he was losing grip
