Negative, just the one, although two WSBK meeting for many years although not recently

Motogp has had donnington and silverstone before. It was past tense.

I heard the duc problem was no front end feel. So not that it couldn't turn just that you couldn't tell when you would turn and when you would lowside.

Let's be honest, the duc was terrible in every way besides power for everyone besides stoner.

I read another article(sorry no source or anything) that pretty much said ducati didn't like the bridgestones and there were stuck with it when they went to spec tire.

I really hope ducati can mix it up in the front but unfortunately I think this season will be Marquez's season to lose. Unless Marc has major mistakes and crashes I think he will threepeat it. I just hope it's a battle instead of him running away from everyone.

4. Hasn't the Duc been incredibly hard to turn for almost everyone except Stoner?

Hmm, ignorance unites!

BTW, ignorance isn't a bad thing, just means lack of knowledge.

Don't worry I wouldn't have called you out if I felt you were a waste of time.

Regarding you points:

1. MM didn't get punted, he over cooked the first corner. The only persons punted were those he ran off coming back through the pack, showing his typical disregard for his fellow competitors that we've come to expect from him.

He did so running the pace which saw him at top of the pre race warm up, it just so happens a few others on the grid found an extra half second between warmup and the race.

Perhaps someone was resting on their laurels.

2. Yes, but actually VW is the parent company and Ducati still operates independently.

3. You are thinking of the Italian Fillipo Perozzi who was a causalty of the Rossi-Burgess pairs failure to deliver. For the man who was behind the motogp program since the beginning in 2003 to get the ax was somghing even Nicky Haden spoke out against saying it would leave a big hole.

The German solution you mention was BMW WSBK director who didn't even last a year and put the nail in his own coffin at Wvroom by promising evolution not revolution. His subsequent lack of results saw him reassigned within the VW group.

His replacement, 100% Italian, Gigi Dalligana was poached from Aprilla at end of 2013. The man behind RSV4 and recent WSBK championships as well as prior GP two stroke projects was now working for Ducati.

This is the guy who looks like Mosses, and his legend is no doubt already being written, leading Ducati out of the wilderness that was their punishment for following false prophets.

4. The bike Stoner last rode was worlds apart from what had become of it by 2014. That is why Gigi said a complete redesign was to be made. Fresh out of the box his bike has impressed everyone. Further development should see it become even more potent.

Below is a good write up on the Italian behind Ducati's current form. It is a good read.

I think it's massivley impressive that rossi could do back to back championships on 500cc and then on the new 4strokes. No one will ever know if marc could have done the same.

Oh, and lets go Honda! Time to impose their will on the competition again!
Not at all. The German was fired and an Italian was hired who built this bike which can turn.

That is more than an adjective it is the opposite of your statement.

As for Rossi and Marquez, they are great talents.

They were also in right place and right time to step into the championship winning teams, crews and bikes, and not spend their early years learning from and being crash test dummies for those who are not at the top themselves.

It's like the going to school at Harvard or Yale compared with state schools and community colleges...

Doohan and Stoners retirements were unique opportunites which Rossi and Marquez benefited from immensely. Talent and timing is everything, talent alone is not enough.

Nicky Hayden will become only the 4th rider to join the 200 race club this weekend. I guess it's impressive that he stuck with it so long.
