Suspension questions

I have a 2012 FZ8 and I'm considering a suspension upgrade. I'm now considering a suspension kit by adreani which includes cartridge inserts, springs that match my weight, fork oil and a rear shock. It's all nice and new http://m.ebay.com/itm/Advanced-Suspe...-/111514567152
But the other option im looking at is replacing my front end with a R1 years 07-08. Get better brakes, and is also fully adjustable. As well as adjustable rear shock. Parts is 600 used and then I'd have to spend another 265 on springs for my weight. And of course fork oil.
Either way I wilk have to take it to P1 Racing or Motorcycle Unlimited to get my suspension tuned in. I'm wondering which suspension upgrade would yield better results and which is more bang for the buck. I know all about suspension honestly but I do plan on tracking the bike. It's also my weekend warrior/commuter .

I don't know all about suspension, either, but I think with the track in mind I would go for the R1 front end for the adjustability. Not to mention, used parts and an abundant aftermarket selection of goodies that'll bolt right onto the R1 parts.

Have you considered go to P1 and talking to them about what options you should consider? They are very straight forward and will give you several options based on your budget. They also sell the same parts you are looking at on Ebay.

I think best bang for the buck is emulators and springs from RaceTech and up from there for the forks. P1 put them in my SV that I race and they work great. You just don't have the easy adjustability like full cartridges for different conditions but again "bank for the buck" is the key term.

I'd check the forums like Byrdman said too.
