Solracer's 07 R6 "Re-build"

As some of you know, I sold my track bike in late 2013. A member here bought it and raced it last season. He definitely used it for what it was meant to do.

He was nice enough to sell it back to me late 2014. I'm in the process of getting it pretty once again and doing some maintenance.

This thread will cover what I'm doing with it.

Here is what the bike had (and for the most part still does) Changes in BOLD RED

- Graves Titanium Full System (Y-pipe has been bent since I crashed the bike in 2012 I planned on replacing that and the end cap of the silencer..See below for story on Y-pipe.....GRRRRRRRR )
- Graves emissions block-off plates
- Engine case covers

Suspension
- AK-20's (Forks were leaking. I decided to have new seals installed. Upon dis-assembly, it was seen that the fork tubes were bent. I purchased new tubes. Front end is all minty fresh now)
- Ohlin’s TTX

Electronics
- Power Commander III
- Dynojet Ignition Module
- Dynojet quickshifter -- Tune for 93 octane by Billy from Tejas (110hp)

Chassis
- GPR (has been sent to GPR for new seals and fluid, has already come back)
- Vortex Rear Sets
- Vortex Clip ons
- Shermoto levers (damaged and will be replaced with new ones)
- Vortex front sproket
- Renthal rear +2
- DID ERV3 520 chain
- Versah Pads
- SS Brake Lines
- New body work and paint from Tony Ta (Body work had some damage and was sent to HOP to have repainted the same scheme as before)
- Zero Gravity Wind shield (Was scratched and broken. Will replace)
- Galfer Wave Rotors (I sent these to Galfer to have new buttons installed as the old ones were worn.)

As it was right before I sold it.

Back at home with her older, fatter, but really comfy sister that does it all!

Yup. Love it for the street. The R6 will see street action "at times" too

Excellent!

I've been thinking about having a "race" bike that I could possibly be unable to keep off of the streets...

Battle Scars.... Called up Graves to send in reinforcements! (Graves Titanium ain't cheap ) $70 for the cap and $275 for the y-pipe. $3/ per spring (I ordered 8 to have a few extra). I also ordered a new mounting strap. ($39)

Wait a second........Something's not right....

20150310 183858 zps4ms7orcv

The hooks for the springs aren't in the right spot. Neither is the bung, even though that fact didn't bother me. Not only that, once put on the bike it didn't "kick it out" up or out enough. for the silencer to clear the rear tire/swing arm.
Right now, I'm in the process of getting Graves to refund me the money because they don't make my y-pipe anymore. Apparently its a 1st gen for this model year. They only make the second. Which, would not fit the rest of my system.

So, until I change out complete systems, I'm going to use the bent part. It still works fine.

Bike looks good Chris. I'd definitely stuff a headlight on it and street ride it.

110hp on a lightened R6 is pretty nasty!

Old ones were shorties. Ended up not liking them being that short. Went back with the "longies"

I prefer long as well, I grip my bar ends like a door , so I need as long as I can get and 1 finger the longer gives easier pull for clutch and brake.
