Ha ha ha I told NoFear that they were the Lay-Z-Boys of sport bikes. I would still kill myself on one. I'm working on my self control on my ZX6R. I don't need any more than 636cc!

Are they really "that" tough to get around corners and only meant for fast straight lines?

No, but they do take more work. Heavier, longer, and really not setup to rail though the twisties but very capable.
I'd have 3 if I could.

spend $200 on helibars and it gets even more comfy, and throws into corners much better due to better leverage. I loved mine before the gf hit me on it, getting a new one soon

If you want a bike you can truly Own the roads with... get a HayaBooSah! With a few mods you can tighten the bike up and make it corner with just about anything. Sure it takes a little work, but if you aren't a candyarse rider, skill is all you need!

I've lightened my Busa and its not too far away from the beloved 400 pound number now.

The true key to making it turn is getting off the seat, taking a link or two out of the chain and running a 180/55 or 190/55 rear tire.
hey guy, no one said it is slow....we refer to it as a "cruiser" because of it's size and comfort. read up.

I have had one of these cruisers since new in 99, still railin the twisties just require a little more work but I do fine and I am only 140 lbs, look like a 12 year old on it but it is a great motorcycle, will be getting a new one in 08, I ride the wheels off of this thing and probably have a 1000 1\4 mile passes on it also. have a friend that buys a new one every year literally he is on his 6th one and no problems just can afford a new one every year must be nice.

Great bikes that can be made to handle really well.

Not my cup of tea because I like lighter, more nimble motorcycles, but they're a really awesome bike for an experienced rider.

I sat on one the other day and felt the same way. The rc is a torture rack. One day I will add a busa just for the comfort factor.
