i know it's not custom to say driver when dealing with motorbikes here. But overseas they do say "driving a motorbike" alot. on a side note. if you're being taken for a ride then you're not in control. if you're driving something then you're in control which you are when you are driving a motorcycle. just giving you a hard time. steve to da izzo.

But if you're overseas and a passenger on a bike then you're a pillion... go figure. :icon_bigg

He's been doing car racing for a long, long time now. I remember him doing the AMA (and maybe even the Wera stuff) back when it was on ESPN early/mid 90's. I think the car gigs pay a LOT better. :laughing6

National Broadcasting is good for the sport even if it was painful to listen to....

Rossi just couldn't break Stoner. I think Stoner has the mental toughness that Rossi has never seen in a rival in the past.

The play by play guy was not new to motogp, he seemed very familiar with riders and the bikes. However he sucked at comentating.
The Nascar analogy was needed in order to pull some interest from the random channel surfer that caught the beginning of the show. I don't blame them for pulling that one.
They did continue to use the F1 of 2 wheels comparisson for the remainder of the show (paraphrazing Edwards).

I'm a big fan of Schwantz, but he should go back to his day job.

Ralph Shaheen (sp?) is a free lancer, but does a lot more bike racing than car racing (he does all the supercross and motocross broadcasts).

Steve'O, what were YOU doing watching Nascrap? :laughing6
