A set of BT003's in the 120 / 140 size will do wonders for your bike's handling, feel, and ultimate grip. The poor stock tires make a 250 a bit sketchy whenever track speeds increase. Day 1, no problem. Day 2 - 10000, worth the extra money.

I like the stock tires that come on the 08 250, I have a (almost) fresh pair of those on.

Once you start getting faster you will realize the benefit of good tires.
