Personally I think gopro is over priced and the link ai posted above should be the going rate for a gopro. Those things aren't worth $500 and most people don't even have the equipment to down load and watch 4k video.

I found glitchy video when I used a sub-par SD card. Purchased a super duper super expensive one and all is well.

Takes 2 batteries though for a trip from Conroe to Yankees and back...

I had the SanDisk extreme in it. $100 card and it wouldn't even make a good 1080p video.

I've lost my share of video because GoPro Hero 2 acted up. I will never buy another one.

Definitely let me know how it goes. Any other accessories that can be purchased with it? Like remote or anything else?

I had usually put mine on the chin of my helmet. Putting on the top cause too much drag and pulls your head back when going fast.

Nice mounting work Donte. I assume you fabricate that mount? I use that curved adhesive that came with the Ghost and slapped it on the right side of my helmet. What did you do to minimize the wind noise? Or did you just kill the volume when editing?

Just bent a piece around the mirror. I also have a the curve mount on one of my helmets, but dont use it as much. Personally i dont like any thing sticky on my gear or bike. Thats why i "bolt" my stuff down. My camera is the HD170 so no mic input. SO my vids are all wind and engine noise. I have been planning on getting a "ghost" so i can motovlog but things keep coming up, so i have to put it on the back burner.
