Also depends on the other variables. Like demographic, average cost per plate, raising the tab, service, etc...

At one point I picked a shitty restaurant and rose the tab to $100+ and got tipped like $5. They even told my manager how "good" I was and I kept then laughing. Just have to pick a good place.
