Dude screw that. I hate when I'm looking on google at a forum, digging for info on a certain topic and I have to read some overzealous mod on the site start chewing someone out, throwing their weight around because someone revived an old thread.
I'm trying to read some useful info on the topic, not a page long post of you pointing out that it's an old topic

That of there's a page or so of useful comments that don't quite answer your question and while waiting in anticipation for that one comment that stands out...you find that they close the thread five years ago because "the topic died" and no one else is able to add anything useful
