Gore Tex is much nicer in the cold than heat. I saw the temp was gonna drop yesterday so I stuffed my liner in my tailbag before I left. Rode home in drizzling rain but it was fine.

I think you and I have done this song and dance before. I went to school in Minneapolis then moved down here.

I was on the way to a meeting in the woodlands this morning at about 9:45 when a red CBR 1000 went by me right as I was exiting Rayford heading north. My car said it was 36 and I just thought how crazy that guy must be. I guess that's why he was in full tuck at 70 mph, lol. Kudos to you brother because your cajones are much larger than mine!

It wasn't this bad until recently. Usually by now, we can ride pretty anywhere... I've been pretty upset with the recent weather myself....

I even bought a 4 wheeler to curb the craving but the weather can even screw that up.
Have to watch motorcycle youtube videos and finish any work during weather.

Same here. I'm starting to run out of videos to watch. I'm down to watching old school motogp videos. Pretty interesting.

A couple of threads on here about riding in weather. Bevo, Volfy and I have posted about it several times. Either follow the advice and get on your bike or quit .

You're not seriously comparing San Diego with Houston are you?

Hey man, what type of tires are you using? I've been wanting to get Pilots, my Bridgestones suck so I don't ride in the rain unless I get caught in it.

Sick of the weather... I swear it rains Fri-Sun.. and if not, the track is too wet on Sat because of the weekday rain... so it's like biking through a swamp... I'm so ready for Spring and not having to pressure wash concrete-dried mud off the bike!

I love that area, especially riding from San Diego up through San Marcos,CA.. beautiful country.. but you can't possibly compare that to Houston...

Weather was very nice yesterday afternoon after work and today in the morning. I had to use glove liners and they work great for weather in the mid 30's like today in the morning.

Wahhhh

40 is good riding weather

My bikes have been parked since Oct and won't see sun until late May...

Thats the thing I miss about living in Houston... year round riding weather.

It's quality over quantity for you though.
