New to riding in texas

I have grown up on dirt bikes but never had to deal with the registration and whatever. I'm hopefully picking up a bike this weekend. So my question is what do I need on the bike to ride in SHNF and other trails in Texas? Where do I go to get those?

You can get a tag at some of the shops around town. I should be at Rio Bravo Saturday if you want to ride there. They have some trails and some nice easy tracks to ride as well.

Wife is "dragging" me to the rodeo. Still waiting on a dirt helmet as well. I'm hopefully hitting up the forest next weekend before dirt wars.

Another quick question that I didn't feel like starting a new thread for, where do I park and start hitting the trails in SHNF? Can I camp there as well?
