Re: July 29th at TWS (Texas World Speedway)...

hahahha, i've ridden 5 years ago for maybe 3 trackdays before i picked up a bike in august, and you've been riding how long? on top of it, it was on a 250... and btw i ran 2:08s my first day back on the track, and 2:00 the second time

i don't really have a problem with you guys trying to get better, but guess what if i had an over confidence problem, i woulda wrecked my 2 races i've raced... but wait, i didn't wreck did i?

it took you quite a while to come up with that comeback didn't you... i don't really care, i was just making a goofy jesture, and you're going to patronize me with your pos takeoffs? like i said before, i'm confident that i'm quick, and i'm getting quicker everytime i get on the track... i have confidence when i ride, but i know how far i can get with my skill, hence why i havent gone in hot, i've lowsided cause of dirt and water, big whoop everyone goes down.

btw you're forgetting who offered to help you, and now you're trying to talk trash cause you got a sponsor? i don't really care, ya i'm jealous and wish i could get a sponsor like that, but it ain't in the cards for me yet, and hopefully i'll get it someday soon, cause that's the only way i'll be able to get better so i can go on the track more with some funding

Syd... calm down buddy.

Opinions are like a$$holes... everyone has one and everyones stinks. You don't have to agree with them. Anyone can say what they want and you have the right to disagree.

We know you're quick, we know you're improving and I think we all want you to do well. But from your words you post and say, yes... you are over confident.

Luckily for you, you have good personal instructors and have some natural talent. I wish you the best of luck, but I don't want to see you get hurt... apparently I'm not as fast as you but I've been around riding a bit longer than you and I know I've seen worse than you when it comes to people being overconfident. So just don't try to force your learning curve, it will come with time.

I know... but remember, other people who are new to trackdays don't like hearing how 'slow' they are from the faster people here.

i guess im that scientist that discovered the world in front of me while your trying to figure it out still* :laughing6:
Lets clear some things up * ....

1. *Parents HAVENT paid for any of the mentioned above. *I bought my bike with my own hard earned money and everything that ive done to it has been with MY money. *I put myself through school kicking and gettin scholarships. *And my jeep was given to me by my aunt since there are only 4 people on my dad's family(I have no brothers/sisters nor cousins).

2. As for the sponsoring I never said anything about having to be fast in order to get one now did I.. NOPE. *:nono: *So I guess the painter has a little reading and understanding *pr pr pro problem. *He says things that were never mentioned. *:laughing6:

3. and you discovered the world in front of you?? *read what you wrote.. it makes no sense!! *you crack me up * :laughing6: *I think u just discovered how to look like an and be wrong about everything you stated above! *lmao.

Aurturo,
I only did one C group and went for B. You should do the same because you can pass on the inside and that will let you learn alot and drop your times simply by not having as much of a wait time. You are at the pace for it.... in fact you will be suprised how many people should not be in it.

ill hopefully hit 2:00-2:05 after lunch. ill dedicate one good lap for you right:
Good luck, doing low 2's in C group might not be easy, traffic and lappers can drop your times. why not do B if your in the low 2.08?
