another helmetless rider killed

Clifford Levi, 46 died of severe head injuries in Angleton thursday afternoon, according to the paper he had been traveling at a high rate of speed thru a residential neighborhood when a 23 year old dingbat turned left in front of him.

The bike didnt even belong to Levi, he was doing a test ride on a friends bike after adjusting the clutch cable.

Had he been wearing a helmet he might still be with us, he made an error in judgement, but whats up with these car drivers? it was broad daylight! you cant see a motorcycle coming right towards you?

Get your head out of your and pay attention lady. I bet she had a cell phone in her hand too.

R.I.P. Mr. Levi

As far as the media is concerened anytime you get on a bike especially a sportbike, you are going at a high rate of speed!

It sucks that he was not wearing a helmet and that now his family has to go through this! May he rest in peace!

yea thats true. the paper didnt say how fast he may have been going.

"neighbors said Levi had been riding the vehicle around the neighborhood at a very fast pace minutes before the wreck"

so he might not have been hauling at the time of the wreck.

moral of the story is ride responsibly and wear a helmet!

Apparently, he had just set 'er down from a wheelie, saw the car, ended up losing the front trying to veer out of the way, and then hit his head HARD on the street. Neighbors told Dputies that thay had warned him earlier in the day about his riding.

Sad for the family... TRY TO KEEP YOURS IN MIND WHEN YOU RIDE

I JUST saw this guy in my neighborhood riding a ninja.
He was wearing t-shirt shorts sandals and glasses. He actually stopped at the stop sign looked at his surroundings for a few seconds, turns right at the stop sign and brings it up in a wheelie...
