Custom Harley came out sick

Friend of mine, guy in my club, built out this 2012 Road Glide. Before and after. It's just sick.

Pipes are a custom, the guy takes stock headers, sans the cans, turns them out and puts a cap on them. It's going to be noisy as . Told him he has to ride on the right side of the rest of us, all the time. lol

Just musing on it. Inspiration and all that.

Looks well executed. The trend of the big front wheels isnt really my cup of tea, but hey, its not my bike. The work looks great, though.

I'm not a fan of the look. Reminds me a german shepherd with bad hip's back end.

Power House Custom Cycles in Houston. Pipes by an individual, Denny Reed. BLB Medusa bags and fender, American Suspension bolt-on 26 neck kit, and a 26" MAD black twist front wheel.

More pics...

This bike is ridiculous.

I dig it! I'm still a fat tire lover... I'm going to remember the paint shop when I'm ready to paint my little hog.

Not everyone in my club is, but yes, this guy is.

The work was funded by extra employment, and his wife is also into it, and has worked extra to fund it. She is a trophy chick who likes doing the Harley model kind of thing, and she's the one who will stretch on it.

Nice. Pics? Hope you don't think I was asking how he afforded it. I'm aware of what a cop can make

Naw, it was partially in response to TomballD talking about the cost. I think he probably laid out close to that. I would have guessed about $45k. 25 for the bike, about 3 in engine and the rest in cosmetics.

His wife is a registered nurse. They're living well.

To each his own I guess. If I had to pick one of those bikes to actually own and ride I would hands down and honestly choose the "before".
